As a mature age person you have the skills, knowledge and experience to contribute to both the workplace and the community. Maturity is an asset and employers can benefit from your experience. The Employment Directions Network
career centres can help you with:-

- employability skills
- training options
- recognising your skills
- keeping you motivated
You are eligible if you are:-
- aged 40 years and over
- 35 years and over for Indigenous Clients
- Unemployed
- Underemployed

There may be a few skills you need in order to obtain the work you want. Through the Profit from Experience program you may be eligible for some further assistance to gain specific skills, training or
help with self-employment. Talk to Employment Directions Network staff and find the best option to assist you. Profit from Experience will help you gain the skills, training, motivation and confidence to explore your employment options.
